Other Services
We use industry-specific software for design, modelling (Autodesk) and NES specification writing. We operate the Microsoft Office 365 suite of applications, and all our software is on a subscription-based plan which ensures we are constantly kept up to date.
We are committed to achieving and maintaining high standards of safety, health, and welfare for DRAC Consulting employees and others who may be affected by our work activities.
We have Safety Schemes in Procurement (SSIP) accreditations with Safe Contractor, and all staff have CSCS cards. To date, we have a 100% clean Health & Safety record with no accidents, no near-misses and no reportable accidents since formation in 2009.

Areas of Work
Building Simulation Modelling
A reconstruction model of a building using a computer programme to reflect the structure and behaviour of the building over time to analyse key performance indicators without cost-intensive measurements.
Building Information Modelling (BIM)
A collaborative platform and shared knowledge resourcing process to generate and manage the digital representations of a building.
Contract Management
Negotiating the terms and conditions of a contract, ensuring compliance, documentation, and agreements during the entire building stages of a project.
Condition Reports
As known as a survey, a condition report is an independent assessment of the conditions of a building. It can include structural state, maintenance concerns and the state for building repair.
Detailed Design Specifications
All documents outlining the system, design, development, production, installation, integration, implementation or maintenance, including the technical requirements, system specifications, electrical and mechanical schematic diagrams and programming.
Dilapidation Reports
A highly detailed survey and report into the current condition of a building’s physical structure and systems and issues relating to its furnishings and general wear and tear.
Display Energy Certificates
It is designed to show the energy performance of a building based on the actual energy consumption for the previous year and must be renewed annually.
Energy Performance Certificates
The rating scheme summarises the energy efficiency of a building or device. It shows the energy efficiency rating from A- very efficient to G- Inefficient.
Negotiations with Public Utility
Discuss and negotiate the use of public resources such as water, electricity and gas to meet the specific requirements and regulations for a building.
Part L Calculations
This is to determine the heat loss of a project, working out the fuel cost and CO2 emissions.
Performance Specifications
A preliminary document detailing a building project’s functionality, technical information and measurements.
U Value Calculations
Calculations used to compare how the use of different materials, or thicknesses of materials, can impact the overall thermal performance of a building.
